As midnight approached, the weather relatively quiet across Alabama. Some showers over the NW and over the SW moving generally eastward.
Off to the west, an area of strong thunderstorms with considerable lightning was across North Louisiana with the eastern edge about to cross the big river into West Central Mississippi. Some of those storms could reach West Alabama in 4 or 5 hours.
All of Alabama still under a “slight risk” by the Storm Prediction Center for tomorrow (Thursday) Rain amounts will be locally heavy.
