The intense storms that moved east across Shelby County were clustered at 7:45 pm over east Shelby County mainly in the Wilsonville and Harpersville area and moving east into Central and South Talladega County. Some of the stronger storms were approaching Childersburg.
The thunderstorms have ended over West Shelby including I-65 westward.
To the south, another storm was moving east across Central Chilton County approaching Clanton on I-65
