Be aware tha our blog is slow from time to time due to extreme demand…

Dallas and Wilcox County warnings were allowed to expire at 1:15.

The storms have weakened considerably.

Tornado warning over Monroe County…just northwest of Monroeville…moving toward Beatrice.

Massive storm over Coffee and Dale counties NE of Enterprise…report of tornado on the ground in Coffee County…from NWS Mobile.

Damage in Orrville….in Dallas County from earlier storm…
Possible tornado…roof blown off house.

So far so good in North Central Alabama, but don’t let your guard down…
Tornado parameters still very strong over western side of state…especially Lamar and Pickens Counties. Any activity that pops in this area will affect the I-59 corridor.

Tornado watches cover all 67 counties of Alabama…western half until 6 p.m….eastern half until 8 p.m. Both are PDS (Particularly Dangerous Situation) tornado watches.

Virtually the entire state in under a HIGH RISK outlook for severe weather except for the northeast corner of the state, which is under a MODERATE RISK…so not much better.
