A couple of interesting storms to tell you about…
One is 8 miles NNW of Lineville in Clay County. Moving directly toward Lineville. Not showing much lightning yet, but I don’t trust that. It’s only a matter of time in any case. It also contains torrential rains and probably gusty winds.
An even bigger storm is in Randolph County. It is near Roanoke. Spewing lots of lightning. A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for Randolph County.
Closer to Birmingham…there is a dying thunderstorm over extreme southern Walker County. Another shower is near Alabama Adventure Theme Park southwest of Bessemer and one is west of Helena. They are moving south.
Over South Central Alabama…strong storms are west of Prattville and along US-80 near Benton. Another is forming near White Hall.
