How is this for a rain amount so far?
From Alston Keith, 3340 Skywatcher, Inverness, North Shelby County:
3.38 inches yesterday
1.39 additional since midnight
_______
4.77 inches storm total so far
And more heavy rain likely today.
I know we are not in competition for rain but I could not resist an early post for that amount. Will have a long list later this morning. Have already compiled 65 reports and still working on the list. After I post that by mid-morning, will mention new amounts during the day and probably another long list tonight.
This is one of the most important rain events I have ever seen and I have been involved in weather since before the Appalachians formed.
I still get excited.
…and life goes on. It is much nicer with rain.
I am not a rumormonger but I am a rainmonger!
