REMEMBER IN OUR PRAYERS
It was about this time 12 years ago when a powerful top-of-the-line F5 tornado was destroying several communities in West Jefferson County. I was doing wall-to-wall radio coverage on Magic-96 and WERC and James was wall-to-wall TV coverage on ABC 33/40. (Scroll down and you can see a replay of the 33/40 TV coverage.) 32 fatalities in Jefferson County and two later from another tornado in St. Clair County. Another tragic never-to-be-forgotten event in Alabama weather history. I know that every April 8, people who lost loved ones hurt all over again.

Since all the weather action is now gone from Alabama, this will probably be my last blog update for today. I am semi-short on sleep.

…and tired
…and hungary
