Things are calming just a bit…
The good news is that no injuries have been reported from the tornadoes and other severe weather across Alabama today.
We have received several reports of tornadoes and tornado damage, as well as some extraordinarily large hail, including some to the size of baseballs.
But now…we have a severe thunderstorm warning for Talladega Countu until 745 p.m.
We have a severe thunderstorm warning for St. Clair County until 7:30 p.m.
A tornado warning continues for Montgomery until 7:15 but will be extended most likely. Several reports of large hail are coming in now from the city of Montgomery.
A tornado watch continues ahead of the line of storms over North Central and South Central Alabama. As soon as the line passes your location, your threat of severe weather will be over.
