I had bought completely into the GFS idea that the front will move more quickly east overnight, with most of the rain being gone by morning in the I-65 corridor.

But radar trends in Mississippi have made me rethink that. With a large area of rain back over the Magnolia State, moving only slowly eastward. It would lead to the conclusion that rain will continue through mid morning over West Alabama, til lunch time in the I-65 corridor and until mid-afternoon over the east.
It will be cloudy and cool, with highs topping out near 60. There will be some clearing later in the day.
I had hoped the Magic City Classic Parade would be dry, but it now looks like it might be wet. The rain should be mainly gone by gametime at Legion Field, owever. Not so lucky at Auburn, where it will likely still be raining some during the game.
Some rain also likely at Talladega for the truck race…but Sunday looks great!
