We are talking tornadoes, flooding and perhaps snow. All in the Arklatex, where our developing storm system has already produced widespread heavy rain, tornadoes and by tomorrow…snow.

A tornado was reported near Longview, TX this afternoon. There are several good photographs of the tornado.

A tornado has apparently caused widespread damage in Lufkin, TX tonight. A woman was reportedly injured when it touched down in an Olive Garden parking lot. There are widespread power outages and trees on homes. The NWS Shreveprot is getting reports of a clear track of damage across the city. Law enforcement was reportedly too busy to talk. Media crews are filming the damage.

Numerous water rescues underway in Miller County, AR, where Texarkana is located. Satellite estimates indicate up to 3.5 inches of rin in the past six hours with additional heavy rain lifting into the area. Precipitable water values are 200% of normal over the Arklatex.

Snow is now in the forecast down to the I-30 corridor for tomorrow. It may snow as far south at Tyler. Dallas could get a dusting.
