NWS has issued the Warning for West/Central Greene County and North/Central Sumter County.
Those areas are in the extreme West/Central part of the state. The Warning is until 3:15 p.m.
It was issued because of a thunderstorm near the community New Mount Hebron, which is about 18 miles north of Livingston and moving west very slowly at 5 mph. This storm may also affect the communities of Gainesville, Warsaw and Geiger. The storm could produce winds over 60 mph.
