A severe thunderstorm with potentially large hail was located just norheast of Blue Mountain, or south of Weaver and Jacksonville at 447 a.m.
It was moving NE and should stay south of Jacksonville, crossing State Route 9 and eventually pass near Piedmont.
A late report from Holly Pond…dime sized hail covering the ground there at 445. That storm is south of Baileyton heading toward Arab. Huntsville just issued Significant Weather Alert for Marshall County.
Thunderstorm along the Walker/Jefferson County line south of Sumiton and Dora is strong and could produce some small hail. Significant Weather Alert for Jefferson and Blount Counties until 530 a.m.
