A band of showers continued to spread eastward across North Alabama late on this Friday afternoon.
At 4 o’clock, showers were as far east and southeast as North Pickens, Fayette, Walker, Cullman, Blount and Etowah County.
The leading edge of the showers should reach the Tuscaloosa-Birmingham-Gadsden area before the afternoon rush hour is over–possibly as early as 5 o’clock.
The showers are light to moderate.
