Widely scattered showers were developing this afternoon over several West Alabama counties. Mainly Walker, Tuscaloosa, Hale and Greene.
They were not very numerous and mostly light at the moment.
But they will grow stronger and some will receive a promotion to thunderstorms.
Bay far, the heaviest showers and thunderstorms were over Extreme South Alabama. They were moving more toward the NE todayascompared to almost due north yesterday.
Lots of lightning in those South Alabama storms.
