…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN MARENGO COUNTY UNTIL
300 PM CDT…
At 227 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Wayne, or 12 miles north of Thomasville, moving northeast at 10 mph.
Another strong thunderstorm was located near the Clarke/Marengo
County line and also was moving northeast around 10 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Linden, Sweet Water, Putnam, Wayne, Surginer, Miller, Dixons Mill,
Magnolia, Calvary, Octagon, Clayhill and Nicholsville.
