At 805 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles south of Carbon Hill to near Bankhead
Lock And Dam to 6 miles northwest of Low Gap. Movement was east at 50
mph.
Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Birmingham, southeastern Tuscaloosa, Hoover, Vestavia Hills,
Alabaster, Bessemer, Homewood, Pelham, Mountain Brook, Helena,
Hueytown, Jasper, Gardendale, Fairfield, Fultondale, Sumiton,
Cordova, Dora, Holt and Pleasant Grove.
