So far so good, with the back edge of the rain now approaching Birmingham just before 2 a.m.
Te main line of showers was approaching Anniston.
Moderate to heavy rain continues across much of Central Alabama south of I-59.
The flash flood watch continues, but no warnings at this hour, and if things stay as they are, we might avoid any serious problems tonight.
