As midnight approached, scattered thunderstorms were developing over Extreme North Mississippi and Extreme SW Tennessee.
Most of them between Memphis and Tupelo.
Movement was toward the NE
Here in Central Alabama, some storms may occur after midnight and toward daybreak. However, the main threat of severe weather will be later in the day Thursday.
A “moderate risk” covers the entire area. The NWS/SPC (Storm Prediction Center) will have an updated outlook after about 2 am, CST.
