It is ironic that Montgomery could possibly get twice as much snow as Birmingham out of this storm system.
Rain was already changing over to snow over a good part of Central Alabama as we approach daybreak. Light snow now in much of the greater Birmingham area. There has been considerable sleet over on the west side of the state, especially in Tuscaloosa and Walker County.
