What a weekend!
But here we are starting a new week and today may be sort of a “recovery” day when we try to nurse our voices back to normal and fight body fatigue. All of us spent many long hours over the weekend. I never did put on my night clothes.
But that is not a point of contention. We are accustomed to very erratic and strange sleeping patterns when the old thunderstorms start to roam.
And yesterday the big, bad, mean, angry thunderstorms roamed far and wide We cast a wary eye on that long line of storms coming out of East Texas into West Louisiana and we knew right awaywe were in for trouble. The big buckle or bow in the center of the line was a dead give-away. We knew that thousands of trees would be no more. It happened all along its path as it traveled all the way to Georgia.
Here in Alabama, just one example. In Perry County, in the center of the state, thousands of trees are on the ground this morning.
Still a long band of showers and storms across South Alabama this morning. SPC has almost the south half under a slight risk today,
Be sure and check out the morning video extreme either by Brian or James. My voice recovery this morning will depend on coffee.
