A line of showers and some thunderstorms formed rather quickly this afternoon across parts of Central and South Alabama. Not too many thunderstorms involved yet.
At 2:40 pm, the line was from about South Tallapoosa County southwestward to near Montgomery and then all the way down to Monroe County in SW Alabama. One of the storms along the NE part of the line prompted a Severe Thunderstorm Warning. (Scroll down)
