The main group of thunderstorms was finally crossing into West Jefferson County at 4 o’clock this morning.
But they are weaker, having decreased in intensity considerably in just the last hour.
Even so, Jefferson County is in line to get some good rain amounts. The storms are not severe. Lightening activity has also decreased considerably.
