Thunderstorms were increasing over Extreme SW Alabama and into NW Florida this afternoon. They were moving almost due northward. Considerable lightning involved.
Other showers were developing over Extreme NE Alabama over Cherokee County and those were also moving northward.

Terrible news…more strong to severe thunderstorms were advancing NE toward Indianapolis this afternoon. The NWS there has placed a number of Central Indiana Counties under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning. Seems like the story will never end. Numerous Indiana counties already declared a disaster area because of record flooding.
