The line of storms now extends from Coosa and Elmore Counties in Central Alabama back through Chilton County near and south of Clanton, then into Perry County near Marion, then to northwest of Camden and over to near Butler.
Some intense lightning and torrential rains just south of Clanton. It is no fun driving on I-65 right now in that region.
The line continues pushing south.
Some light to moderate rain pushing into the Tuscaloosa County area. Some light rain across southern parts of the Birmingham Metro right now. Alos some light to moderate rain in East Alabama over eastern Calhoun and Cleburne Counties.
