Thunderstorms were scattered to numerous along the Alabama-NW Florida Coast this afternoon from Mobile County eastward to Panama City. Over 1/2 inch of rain fell at Panama City in less than an hour.

Mobile Regional Airport has received 1.29 inches in about two hours.

The storms extend inland to Monroe, Clarke, Washington and Escambia County.

Further north there were scattered storms but not as numerous over West Central Alabama from about Livingston and Greensboro southward. Others were over South Central Alabama.

A large percentage of Alabama is dry this afternoon.

About the NE two-thirds of the state had no showers in progress at 3:45 pm. The wedge took care of that as cooler and drier air spread westward into Alabama from Georgia overnight.
