A strong thunderstorm continued over Shelby County early this evening. At 7 pm, it was centered north of Columbiana and moving NE toward Wilsonville, Harpersville and Vincent.
Earlier, at 6:21 pm, hail was reported at Saginaw just east of I-65 in Shelby County, however we could not get a report of the size.
Other thunderstorms, not as strong, were over east Jefferson and West St. Clair County. Loud thunderstorm can be heard from NE Trussville, which happens to be where I am writing this from.
Almost all of Alabama is outlooked for a slight risk of severe weather Sunday. We will be on watch and this weather blog will be busy. Probably the strongest storms afternoon and evening.
