NWS/Huntsville has issued another Significant Weather Alert for Cullman County until 6:30. This is based on a strong thunderstorm moving northward through the western part of the county and passing west of the city of Cullman. Other strong storms were growing stronger in the West Point Battleground communities in NW Cullman County. Some of those storms were crossing the Cullman/Morgan County line.
Other separate strong storms were over North Lawrence County about 10 miles north of Moulton and moving north.
Meanwhile, in West Alabama, that line of storms persisted from North Tuscaloosa County down across North Greene County into North Sumter County. One of the stronger storms in that line will be moving into Pickens County, specifically toward Aliceville and later Carrolton.
