Will move into western Jefferson County, near Oak Grove, Rock Creek, Virginia Mines, Mulga, Sylvan Springs, Edgewater, Hueytown, Fairfield, Pleasant Grove, Midfielld, Bull City, Concord and Dolomite.

A shortwave trough continues to move through Alabama today, so showers and a few thunderstorms are possible statewide. Upper-level ridging returns tomorrow and Tuesday, and rain chances dwindle before another storm system moves through Wednesday, bringing more rain and thunderstorms to Alabama.
