* 4:27 pm, three miles SW of Greensboro, Hale County, thunderstorm wind damage. The Greensboro Police Department reported several trees down along highway 69 near the airport.
* Doppler Radar estimates show as much as five inches of rain in parts of South Hale County including the Greensboro vicinity.
* Two miles SW of Greensboro, Hale County, flash flooding was underway at 5:40 pm. A creek overflowed flooding several areas near highway 69 just south of Greensboro. Hale County road crews were investigating additional flooding.
* 2:50 pm, Oxford, Calhoun County, golf ball to quarter size hail reported by broadcast media across parts of Oxford.
* At 2:52 pm, also Calhoun County, hail larger than quarters at Wellborn, west of Anniston.
