Flooding is occurring in Jefferson and Shelby Counties this morning from the heavy rains.
Village Creek in Ensley is over 10 feet and will crest at 11.5 feet…major flooding occurs at 12 feet.
A Twitter report: cars underwater halfway up doors in Ensley on Pike Road.
Heavy rain continues over western sections of the Birmingham metro, so the flooding will continue.
Flash flood warning for Jefferson and Shelby Counties.
