Great shot from the GOES satellite this morning in the visible imagery of the upper low over Central Mississippi. I drew the L at the approximate center of the low and even in the still imagery it is easy to visualize the rotation in the cloud field.
Showers and thunderstorms – some approaching strong to severe conditions – will continue over the Southeast through much of the Memorial Day weekend due to the upper low.
