The NWS has cancelled the Walker County warning. The severe storms have stayed to the north in Winston County. Winston County should remain especially alert from strong damaging winds. The system is passing Double Springs. It will reach Addison momentarily and Arley within 10-15 minutes.

Several roads are reported flooded in Vernon in Lamar County.

We still have three tornado warnings in Mississippi, including Newton, Kemper and Noxubee Counties.

Pcikens County should be especially alert. That is a dangerous storm just northwest of DeKalb. It appears to be trying to achieve some real structure.

The NWS just issued a severe thunderstorm warning for northern Pickens, southern Fayette and NW Tuscaloosa County.

I am still a little concerned about the tornado threat from the storm northwest of Scobee if it continues to look better organized.

Tornado watch until 3 for much of the area.
