Here in Alabama, as 5 o’clock approached, almost no storms over the western half of the state. Here is where they are elsewhere:
* NE Corner. A few in progress mainly in Jackson County. A better group in Dekalb County and a lone one near Huntsville. These are part of a linear cluster of storms extending NE from Near Chattanooga to Charleston, West Va. Several Severe Thunderstorm Warning out of Knoxville for those storms.
* East Central. Several over Coosa and Elmore County
* Few around Gulf Shores on the coast.
* Scattered ones over SE Alabama, a bit more numerous there.
Movement toward the south except the ones over SE Alabama moving more toward the SE.
Some nice storms in progress along the coast of NW Florida including the Panama City area.
