Tomorrow, Thursday, September 18th, the National Weather Service in conjunction with Quintard Mall in Oxford, AL, will be holding a Weather Safety and Awareness Day. The National Weather Service along with other groups such as insurance companies, utility companies, local government agencies, and others will be setting up displays in the Mall to acquaint people with weather safety. Tables and displays will be set up throughout the Mall.
I will be taking the Storm Chaser and will be available to talk with folks about the importance of being prepared for the storm. The event will be held from 1 pm to 6 pm, so if you are anywhere near Quintard Mall, come on by and say hello.
If you have a NOAA Weather Radio that needs programming, the NWS guys will be glad to help, and I will, too.
Hope to see you there.
