We have been watching an interesting shift in the energy of storms to our west. The primary line stalled and weakened, while storms are now forming out ahaed of the main line. They are congealing into a fairly powerful line of storms now.

Very strong storms now in Pickens County up into southern Lamar County…northwest of Carrollton. 45,000 foot top here.

These storms will move up into SE Lamar County and into Fayette County. Lots of flooding problems Friday night in the city of Fayette, and hopefully the heavy rains will pass to your north there.

Big storms in Marion and extreme NW Fayette Counties. Very intense just east of Hamilton with lots of lightning and heavy rain. 45,000 foot top here.

We could see flooding problems in Marion County as the storms are not moving eastward very quickly. One hour rainfall rates approaching 2 inches now southeast of Hamilton. FLASH FLOOD WARNING *NEW* for Marion County, including Hamilton til 8 p.m.

One other heavy shower to talk about…it is southwest of Hanceville in Cullman County. It should move in t hat direction, but seems to be moving a little more toward Dodge City. It has quickly developed a 35,000 foot top.
