At 148 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Fort Payne to near Sand
Rock. Movement was southwest at 20 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Fort Payne, Rainsville, Crossville, Sylvania, Fyffe, Powell, Valley
Head, Hammondville, Mentone and Pine Ridge.
